L’AS Bambey n’a pas réussi à aligner une cinquième victoire chez elle, pour espérer éjecter Aigles de la Médina de tête du classement. Malheureusement, elle s’est inclinée (0-1) face au club de la Médina. L’attaquante Fatoumata Bangoura alias «Neymar», nouvelle recrue venant de Kaolack FC, a inscrit l’unique but permettant aux Médinoises de prendre leur revanche.
Avec cette sixième victoire d’affilée à l’extérieur, la troisième consécutive, Aigles de la Médina creuse l’écart à cinq pions avec son poursuivant direct. Avec ce deuxième revers, AS Bambey a désormais un point d’avance sur Jappo Olympique de Guédiawaye (3e, 25 pts) qui a battu (2-1) à domicile les Dorades de Mbour, dernières au classement.
Au stade Djagaly Bagayoko, Amazones Grand-Yoff (9e, 9 pts-8) voulait aligner un deuxième succès de rang pour quitter la zone dangereuse. Mais, les Grand-Yoffoises ont été accrochées chez elles (0-0) par l’USPA (5e, 19 pts+1), freinée elle aussi après deux succès de rang. L’équipe de Kumaré de Sédhiou (8e, 10 pts) a surclassé (3-0) Kaolack FC (6e, 19 pts) et s’éloigne davantage des équipes relégables.
Par contre, le match entre le Casa Sports (7e, 13 pts-7) et AFA Grand-Yoff (10e, 6 pts-21) n’a pas eu lieu. D’après un membre de l’équipe, les Grand-Yoffoises d’AFA n’ont pas effectué le déplacement à Ziguinchor.
