Foot féminin : JOG fait confiance à une dame pour remplacer Adama Kane

Mame Fama Ndongo coach Jappo Olympique de Guédiawaye

Adama Kane est parti, Mame Fama Ndongo arrive. Adjointe de Jappo Olympique de Guédiawaye depuis deux ans, elle est désormais promue coach principale. La direction du club a fait l’annonce ce lundi 26 aout sur ses réseaux sociaux.

« Avec une solide expérience en tant que joueuse, coach et une connaissance approfondie du club, nous sommes convaincus que son vécu, tant sur le terrain qu’en dehors, lui permettra de mener notre équipe vers de nouveaux succès. Depuis son arrivée au club, Mme Ndongo a fait preuve d’un engagement exceptionnel et d’une passion indéfectible pour notre équipe. Son dévouement et son travail acharné ont non seulement contribué à notre développement, mais ont également inspiré chaque joueuse à donner le meilleur d’elle-même », décrit le club.

Cette expérience sera la première de Mame Fama Ndongo comme entraineure principale d’un club de première division. Ancienne joueuse de football, elle s’occupait d’une école de football avant d’intégrer le staff du club de la banlieue dakaroise. Elle essaiera de faire mieux qu’Adama Kane qui part après deux saisons sur le banc de JOG.

« Nous serons toujours reconnaissants envers Adama Kane qui a su, en très peu de temps, transformer une équipe en difficulté pour en faire l’une des meilleures du championnat de D1 féminine. Nous lui souhaitons le meilleur pour ses projets futurs. », a témoigné Djamil Faye, le président du club. Avec Adama Kane, Jappo Olympique de Guédiawaye a remporté la Coupe du Sénégal 2023.
