Ligue 1 (12e j.) : AJEL signe une deuxième victoire à domicile devant Dakar SC

Le promu AJEL de Rufisque a pris le meilleur (2-1) sur Dakar SC, ce samedi 18 janvier 2025, au stade Ngalandou Diouf, comptant pour la 12e journée de Ligue 1.

Vaincu précédemment par Génération Foot à Thiès dans le derby rufisquois (1-0), AJEL de Rufisque s’est rectifié à domicile en battant (2-1) Dakar SC pour se hisser à la 6e place, avec 16 pts+1.

Dans cette rencontre de la relance, les Rufisquois ont trouvé le chemin des filets, après le premier quart d’heure. L’attaquant Massaer Dieng a fait frétiller les filets d’El Hadji Bilal Diouf en accompagnant le cuir du pied, suite à un centre de Pathé Seck (1-0, 16′).

L’équipe de Dakar SC (16 pts+2), scotchée au 5e rang et éliminée en 32es de finale de la Coupe du Sénégal chez elle (0-2) par AJEL de Rufisque, n’a pas profité de l’apport du vent pour égaliser. Elle va essayer de le faire en seconde période, mais le club rufisquois était bien en place.

Alors qu’on joue la 80e minute, le portier de Dakar SC commet l’irréparable. Il tente de dribbler Ousmane Seck. Le milieu de terrain rufisquois, entré en cours de jeu, met le pied et récupère le cuir avant de le pousser dans les cages vides (2-0).

Les locaux avaient même l’opportunité de corser le score. Entré à la place de Massaer Dieng, Mouhamed Soumah a vendangé une occasion nette, en envoyant le ballon sur le poteau.

Après cette occasion, Dakar SC est allé rapidement à l’offensive. Et sur une action enclenchée côté droit, l’avant-centre Mame Mody Sy réduit le score, d’un plat du pied (2-1, 89′).

Ainsi, AJEL de Rufisque décroche une troisième victoire, la deuxième à domicile, et se prépare à se rendre prochainement chez la Linguère. Alors que Dakar SC recevra Oslo FA.
