Deggo Maristes a débuté les compétitions départementales du mauvais pied. Le représentant de la Zone 7C de Yarakh (4e, 0 pt-2), vaincu sèchement (0-2) par Bokk Yoon (1er, 3 pts+2), n’a pas été à la hauteur des espoirs placés en lui. L’équipe de la Zone 8 C des Parcelles assainies devient, du coup, leader de la poule A.
La seconde rencontre du groupe entre Entente 811 de la Zone 8B (3e, 1pt) et Jappo de la Zone 8A (2e, 1 pt) s’est soldée par un score blanc.
Dans la poule B, Fann de la Zone 2 a foudroyé (6-0) Tonghor de la Zone 6 et occupe provisoirement la première place, en attendant le deuxième match du groupe entre Jant Bi de la Zone 8C et Jokko de la Zone 7A, prévu ce dimanche 11 août 2024.
La poule D entre en lice le même jour, avec Jappo 16 de la Zone 8B / Thielly de la Zone 5 et Manko 24 de la Zone 8C / Manko 4 de la Zone 7C.
La première journée sera bouclée, lundi 12 août 2024, par la poule C avec Dekeundo de la Zone 5 / Walidaan de la Zone 7C et Santhie de la Zone 7A / Apecsy de la Zone 6.
