Tournoi UFOA-A U20 (F) : Le Sénégal étrille la Guinée et hérite de la Guinée-Bissau en finale

En matchs comptant pour les demi-finales du tournoi de l’UFOA-A, ce lundi 27 mai 2024, au stade Lat Dior de Thiès, la sélection féminine du Sénégal U20 a surclassé (4-0) son homologue de la Guinée. En finale, ce mercredi, les Lioncelles feront face à la Guinée-Bissau, vainqueur (1-1, TAB 3-1) du Liberia.

Les Lioncelles U20 du Sénégal continuent leur petit bonhomme de chemin vers le sacre. Les protégées de Mbayang Thiam se sont qualifiées en finale, après avoir battu sans difficulté les Guinéennes.

Bien entrées dans le jeu, les Sénégalaises, grâce à Sokhna Pène, ouvrent le score avant le premier quart d’heure (1-0, 11’). Elle sera imitée par la gardienne des seniors dames, Adji Ndiaye, reconvertie attaquante dans sa catégorie (2-0, 38’).

En seconde période, les Guinéennes ont résisté avant de céder à la 62e minute. Wolimata Ndiaye, auteure d’une bonne prestation, est récompensée en inscrivant le troisième but des siennes (3-0, 62’), avant que Marie Louise Sarr ne corse l’addition à six minutes de la fin (4-0, 86’).

Avec cette écrasante victoire, les Sénégalaises croisent en finale, ce mercredi 29 mai 2024, au stade Lat Dior, la Guinée-Bissau, qui a éliminé (1-1, TAB 3-1) le Liberia, dans l’autre demi-finale.
