Les rideaux sont tombés sur la 3e journée de la D1 féminine sénégalaise. Le leader Aigles de Médina (9 pts+11) et son dauphin Jappo Olympique de Guédiawaye (JOG), ex-Sirènes de Grand-Yoff (9 pts+5), ont décroché leur troisième victoire consécutive sur les pelouses de Kaolack FC (0-1) et d’Olympique de Ziguinchor (0-2).
Le promu AS Bambey (7 pts+5) a enregistré sa deuxième victoire (3-0) à domicile face au tenant du titre Dakar SC. Ainsi, les protégées de Mbayang Thiam, sélectionneuse de l’équipe nationale U20 filles, deviennent troisièmes au classement. Par contre, les Sicapoises chutent à la 8e place, avec 1 point.
Dans le derby régional de Ziguinchor, le Casa Sports (3 pts-9) a écrasé (5-0) la formation de Gazelles de Bignona, devenue lanterne rouge (11e, 0 pt-8). Pour sa part, le Casa Sports grimpe au 6e rang, après avoir signé sa première victoire.
La rencontre entre AFA Grand-Yoff et Union sportive des Parcelles assainies (USPA) n’a pas eu lieu à cause de problèmes administratifs du côté de l’équipe grand-yoffoise, d’après un membre du football féminin.
L’équipe d’Amazones Grand-Yoff (7e, 2 pts), qui a enchaîné deux nuls, est exemptée lors de cette 3e journée.
