Honoré Gomis confie qu'il est en discussion avec plusieurs clubs

Auteur de 9 buts et 7 passes décisives en 41 matchs toutes compétitions confondues cette saison avec le FC Dila, l’ailier droit sénégalais Honoré Gomis devrait changer d’air. Dans cet entretien avec Dsports, l’ancien pensionnaire de Dakar Sacré-cœur confirme les intérêts de plusieurs clubs, dont le Dinamo Batumi, champion de l’élite géorgienne.

Vous venez de clôturer une deuxième saison avec le FC Dila. Pouvez-vous nous parler un peu de vos performances ?

Effectivement, la saison vient de se terminer en Géorgie. Je peux dire que dans l’ensemble, j’ai fait une nette progression par rapport à la première année où je n’avais marqué 5 buts pour 4 passes décisives. Cette saison, j’ai inscrit 9 buts et délivré 7 passes décisives en 41 matchs toutes compétitions confondues. Cela m’a permis d’être dans les 11 types de la première partie de la saison. 

Nous avons appris que vous êtes sur le point de rejoindre le champion Dinamo Batumi. Comment avancent les négociations ?

Nous sommes toujours en discussion avec plusieurs clubs, mais nous allons réfléchir et prendre la meilleure décision. Je ne me précipite pas pour le moment et j’essaie de faire le meilleur choix, avec l’espoir de pouvoir jouer les grandes compétitions européennes.  

Pourquoi avoir choisi de continuer l’aventure en Géorgie, n’avez-vous pas trouvé un championnat plus huppé ?

Si, j’ai beaucoup d’offres. Mais, j’ai des conseillers, des gens qui m’ont toujours aidé depuis le début de ma carrière. Nous prendrons une bonne décision ensemble et le championnat georgien est une porte aussi, vu que je le connais déjà et ce ne serait pas nouveau pour moi. 

Pensez-vous toujours à la sélection nationale ?

Pour dire vrai, c’est difficile actuellement de pouvoir intégrer la sélection nationale sénégalaise. Mais, nous travaillons toujours pour aller de l’avant et progresser. J’en profite pour souhaiter une bonne chance à l’équipe nationale, qui se prépare pour la défense de son titre en Côte d’Ivoire, lors de l’édition 2023.

Quels sont vos regrets, après votre passage en Turquie ?

Je n’ai pas regretté mon passage en Turquie, bien au contraire. J’ai eu de l’expérience et cela m’a beaucoup aidé à progresser sur tous les plans aujourd’hui. J’arrive à maturité et j’espère pouvoir continuer à monter en puissance. 

Quels sont les objectifs que vous vous fixez pour les années à venir ?

Mes objectifs ne changent jamais. Je veux toujours aller le plus loin possible dans ma carrière de footballeur professionnel. Je ne lâche rien et comme on dit : « seul le travail paye ». 

Quels sont vos rapports avec vos compatriotes footballeurs professionnels ?

J’ai de très bons rapports avec mes compatriotes footballeurs professionnels. On se parle le plus souvent, et je suis souvent en compagnie de certains d’entre eux qui sont plus proches de moi. Nous sommes tous des amis.
