Ma CAN malgré la distance

Ferveur de la CAN

Ma décision était claire avant la CAN. C’était de l’observer à distance, tenter de la décrypter et la vivre à distance mais surtout ne pas la boycotter. Mon vécu de journaliste et mes nombreux souvenirs ne me l’auraient pas pardonné.

Mon premier aperçu me donne raison. Elle est arrivée comme elle avait été annoncée. Ses toutes premières notes n’ont trahi aucune prédiction. Une grande fête colorée bercée au son des sonorités venues des quatre coins du continent. Un vrai prologue culturel annonciateur d’une belle fête sportive dont le ton a été donné depuis l’arrivée des délégations sportives en Côte d’Ivoire avec leurs costumes traditionnels. Signe d’un véritable ancrage culturel de la grande fête du football dans nos valeurs et croyances profondes qui s’est décliné à travers ces tenues traditionnelles.

Au plan purement sportif, rien ne s’est encore dessiné, aucune tendance ne s’est dégagée en attendant de voir toutes les équipes. Mais, l’engagement d’en faire une grande africaine s’est déjà précisé. Les images que projette la Côte d’Ivoire par des milliers d’envoyés et les réseaux sont saisissantes et attrayantes. Elles donnent envie d’y être, de baigner dans cette ferveur et de vivre intensément cette CAN. Car, notre rendez vous fétiche grandit, gagne en notoriété, sourit au monde entier et fait un clin d’œil à tous.

Vue d’ailleurs, elle est comme la devanture lumineuse d’un grand magasin qui clignote aux passants. Sur les réseaux sociaux, c’est un défilé d’images des nuits chaudes de la Côte d’Ivoire entre maquis et boîtes de nuit. Abidjan se dévoile, étale ses charmes au rythme de la fête à tous ceux qui ont décidé de rester à la maison. Sans faire le détour à Korogho, Yamoussoukro, San Pedro et Bouaké, on sent la fièvre monter et la chaleur humaine se propager.

Quand tout le monde s’y mettra, de nouveaux ingrédients viendront aiguiser nos appétits et notre désir d’être un témoin de ces scènes de vie dont le foot est le seul à détenir le secret. Mais après tout, on ne renonce pas de se mettre à la périphérie de l’événement et non dans l’épicentre. On se régale de cette vue panoramique avec cette mosaïque de couleurs de sons et de lumières. Ça commence plutôt bien.
