CAN 2025 : 8 pays déjà qualifiés pour le Maroc !

Au moins huit pays ont réservé leur place à la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations (CAN) 2025, au Maroc. En effet, la RD Congo, le Sénégal, l’Égypte et l’Angola, vainqueurs de leurs matchs en qualifications, ce mardi, rejoignent le Cameroun, l’Algérie, le Burkina Faso et le pays hôte.

Le Congo a battu la Tanzanie 2-0, cet après-midi. L’Angola a battu la République du Niger 1-0. L’Égypte a battu la Mauritanie 1-0. Tandis que le Sénégal a également gagné 1-0 contre le Malawi.

Avec 10 points chacun, à deux journées de la fin des éliminatoires de la CAN 2025, le Sénégal et le Burkina Faso, notamment, ne peuvent plus être rejoints, mathématiquement, par le Burundi (3 pts) et le Malawi (0 pt). Les 5e et 6e journées devraient ainsi décider de qui sera leader et dauphin du Groupe L.

C’est fait pour le Maroc, déjà qualifié en tant que pays hôte, l’Égypte, la RD Congo, l’Angola et l’Algérie, qui réalisent le carton plein, respectivement, dans les Groupes B, C, H, F et E (12 pts). Le Cameroun, 10 points devant le Zimbabwe (8 pts), est assuré de terminer à l’une des deux premières places du Groupe J.

Ce n’est pas encore fait pour la Côte d’Ivoire, championne en titre

Mais, la Côte d’Ivoire, championne d’Afrique en titre et leader du Groupe G (9 pts) devant la Zambie (7 pts), devra attendre. Car, tout n’est pas encore perdu pour la Sierra Leone (3e, 4 pts), qui a surpris les Éléphants (1-0). C’est le même scénario dans le Groupe K, entre l’Ouganda (10 pts), l’Afrique du Sud (8 pts) et le Congo (4 pts).

Dans le Groupe I, ça se jouera entre le Mozambique (8 pts), le Mali (8 pts) et éventuellement la Guinée-Bissau (4 pts). Alors que le Nigeria (7 pts), le Bénin (6 pts) et le Rwanda (5 pts) se tiennent d’assez près dans le Groupe D. Et, ça reste ouvert dans le Groupe A entre la Tunisie (6 pts), la Gambie (5 pts), les Comores (5 pts) et Madagascar (2 pts).
