Reste à savoir si l’ailier emblématique des Toffees (8 buts cette saison) pourra être remis à temps pour la suite des qualifications au Mondial 2026. Le Sénégal ira en Libye défier le Soudan (5e journée) avant de recevoir le Togo (6e journée), respectivement, les 22 et 25 mars 2025.
