D’après le directeur exécutif de la Ligue sénégalaise de Football professionnel (LSFP), Amsatou Fall, toutes les mesures ont été prises pour que cette rencontre se déroule normalement.
Gouverner, c’est prévoir. La LSFP n’entend pas revivre les incidents de l’année dernière au cours desquels des matchs ont été interrompus. Le match entre Guédiawaye FC et Jaraaf en est un. Ces deux équipes s’étaient rencontrées en demi-finale de la Coupe du Sénégal, au stade Ibrahima Boye de Guédiawaye. Mais, le match a été interrompu suite au penalty accordé au Jaraaf à la dernière minute de la prolongation.
Jaraaf se déplace sans ses supporters
«Nous avons anticipé. Déjà dans la phase aller, par rapport aux incidents qui s’étaient produits durant cette Coupe du Sénégal, on a demandé à ce que l’équipe visiteuse ne se déplace pas avec ses supporters. On le duplique pour la phase retour. Le match de la phase aller, le Guédiawaye s’est déplacé sans ses supporters contre le Jaraaf. L’équipe de Guédiawaye FC s’était présentée avec sa délégation officielle (30 personnes) et ses invités (15 ou 20 personnes). Ce sera la même manière pour le Jaraaf pour respecter le parallélisme des formes», précise Amsatou Fall.

Le Directeur administratif de la LSFP affirme que ce n’est pas une spécificité sénégalaise mais elle est mondiale (…). Il raconte une anecdote : «Je suis parti d’Algérie et on m’a informé qu’il y a le match entre Wydad AC et le Raja de Casablanca. Comme l’avion devait faire escale au Maroc, j’ai dit que je veux voir le match. Je descends pour voir le match et je ne trouve pas les supporters du Raja. J’ai demandé : qu’est-ce qui se passe ? On m’informe que Raja n’est pas autorisé à venir avec ses supporters. Un exemple qui date de quatre ans».
L’ancien Directeur technique de la Fédération sénégalaise de Football (FSF) indique que la LSFP a pris «toutes les mesures» pour ce match (Guédiawaye FC / Jaraaf). Il y aura également, à chaque fois que de besoin, le renforcement de la commande de service d’ordre. «Tous les matchs à gros enjeux sécuritaires et populaires, nous demandons à la Direction de la Sécurité publique, par le biais du commissaire Demba Sarr, pour renforcer la sécurité», conclut-il.
