Cameroun - nomination de Marc Brys : Le grand étonnement de la Fecafoot

La Fédération camerounaise de Football (Fecafoot) dit ne pas être mise au courant de la nomination du technicien belge, Marc Brys, à la tête des Lions indomptables.

Quelques heures après l’officialisation du successeur de Rigobert Song, la Fédération camerounaise de Football avec à sa tête un certain Samuel Eto’o n’a pas tardé à réagir.

Dans un communiqué, la Fecafoot a montré son étonnement et affirme ne pas être au courant de la nomination de Marc Brys qui devrait être officiellement installé dans les prochains jours.

“La Fédération camerounaise de Football a appris au même moment que l’ensemble des Camerounais, la nomination à des postes de responsabilité au sein de la sélection nationale seniors de football masculin”, a d’abord fustigé la note.

Une méthode dénoncée par la Fecafoot qui “marque son grand étonnement face à cet acte qui s’oppose aux termes du décret N°2014/384 du 26 septembre 2014, portant sur l’organisation et le fonctionnement des sélections nationales de football”.

“Cette décision prise de manière unilatérale arrive au moment même où la Fecafoot a accepté d’exécuter les très hautes instructions du Président de la République, en apportant sa franche collaboration, en vue de parvenir à un apaisement profitable à l’avenir de nos chers Lions Indomptables”, poursuit le communiqué.

L’instance conclut en affirmant vouloir “apporter un éclairage sur cette regrettable situation, de même qu’elle communiquera sans délai sur la réaction qu’elle entend y réserver”.

Comme quoi, la guerre est déclarée entre le ministère des Sports camerounais et la Fédération.
