La Ligue 2 sénégalaise a bouclé sa première partie il y a quelques jours. Avant le démarrage de la phase retour, Dsports en collaboration avec la Ligue sénégalaise de football professionnel a désigné le meilleur joueur, le meilleur entraineur et la révélation de la phase aller.
Le titre de MVP est allé à Ismaila Manga. Le milieu offensif a illuminé le jeu d’Essamaye durant cette première partie de saison. Il a enregistré 3 buts et 5 passes décisives. Il était en concurrence avec Richard Sagna de l’AS Douane qui a retrouvé une seconde jeunesse et Mohamed Coly, le milieu buteur du Stade de Mbour.
Comme meilleur jeune, Etienne Mendy a été désigné. Jeune milieu récupérateur né en 2008, il a été transformé en attaquant par l’AS Bambey qui l’a repéré à Mbacké. Ça lui va bien. L’adolescent sait presque tout faire. Il compte 4 buts et 5 passes décisives à mi-parcours. Mendy devance au classement du meilleur jeune, El Hadj Seck de Diambars, parti en Belgique en janvier. Avant ce transfert, il avait claqué 6 buts en 8 journées.
Enfin pour le meilleur entraineur, le choix s’est porté sur Amadou Fall Hann. L’ancien joueur du Casa Sports et de la CSS est en train de réussir un gros pari en tant que jeune entraineur. Après avoir hissé Essamaye en Ligue 2, il a réalisé une phase aller épique. Le club de Ziguinchor occupe la première place à mi-parcours avec 10 victoires, 3 nuls et 2 victoires.
