Mondial 2026 (Q) – Aliou Cissé : “On n’était pas venu pour jouer du beau football”

En conférence de presse d’après-match, le sélectionneur national du Sénégal est revenu sur la prestation de son équipe qui a été bousculée par la Mauritanie. Pour Aliou Cissé, l’essentiel était de repartir avec les trois points.

“On n’était pas venu pour jouer du beau football, mais pour gagner. Contrairement à la rencontre contre la RD Congo où il y avait du bon contenu, la Mauritanie nous a posé pas mal de problèmes. En venant ici, on savait que ça n’allait pas être facile. La chaleur, la pression, l’état de la pelouse. J’ai vraiment eu des hommes responsables qui ont tenu. On a été bousculé mais on n’a rien lâché”, a déclaré Aliou Cissé.
