Refus d'entrer en cours de jeu : Boulaye et Salernitana, le divorce semble consommé !

Sur le banc au coup d’envoi de la rencontre contre Udinese, cet après-midi en Serie A italienne, l’attaquant sénégalais de Salernitana, Boulaye Dia, a refusé d’entrer en jeu à quelques minutes de la fin. Une attitude qui n’a pas plus à son entraîneur.
Patron de l’attaque de Salerne depuis son arrivée en Italie, il y a près de deux ans, Boulaye Dia est souvent titulaire quand il est apte. Mais cet après-midi, lors du déplacement de son équipe à l’Udinese (1-1), il a débuté la rencontre sur le banc. Ce que l’international sénégalais n’a pas apprécié.
« Je comprends que c’est quelqu’un sur qui je ne peux pas compter »
A dix minutes de la fin de la partie, son entraîneur a voulu le lancer pour aller chercher la victoire, mais Boulaye a refusé d’entrer sur la pelouse de Bluenergy Stadium. Une décision à laquelle a réagi Fabio Liverani, coach de la Salernitana, en conférence de presse d’après-match.
« Il a finalement refusé d’entrer sur le terrain. Il a fait un choix, que nous prendrons en considération à partir d’aujourd’hui. J’en prends note, le club aussi je crois. C’est un choix définitif. Le problème n’est pas pour moi, mais pour ses coéquipiers », a expliqué le technicien italien qui pourrait prendre la décision de ne plus aligner l’ancien de Reims.
« Le retirer du groupe? Je ne pense pas que ce soit le bon mot, mais je comprends que c’est quelqu’un sur qui je ne peux pas compter. »

Quand Boulaye voulait partir l’été dernier
La tension entre Boulaye Dia et Salernitana ne date as d’aujourd’hui. En début de saison, l’attaquant des Lions était en conflit avec son club depuis l’échec de son transfert à Wolverhampton l’été dernier.
Boulaye avait même entamé un bras de fer avec son club en refusant de participer aux entraînements avant de revenir sur sa décision. Derrière, le joueur passé par Villarreal a voulu tout oublier et se concentrer sur le terrain, mais il a été freiné par une blessure qui l’a privé de Coupe d’Afrique des Nations en Côte d’Ivoire.
Avec 16 buts et 6 passes décisives l’an dernier, Boulaye Dia a été l’un des principaux artisans du maintien du club de Salerne. Cette saison, il n’a marqué que 4 buts en 17 matchs.
